The Inn is very well maintained and also clean. The staff are friendly. Our room (108) was clean and cozy. The bed was nice. It is a nice room for 2 people. The Inn is close to a lot of restaurants and shops that are in walking distance. Ft Myers beach is also real close. We did not try the restaurant on site. We stayed overnight on 7/26/25.
Outstanding papardelli bolognese dish. Huge portion which I enjoyed at the restaurant and two more time for lunches at home. #1
I could not be any happier staying here!!! The rooms are incredible, the inn is on the water so it’s a beautiful view. Most importantly the service is incredible and the front desk could not be any better!! You absolutely cannot ask for a better place here Stayed here 2/24/26 and 2/25/26
It was a really good location! Walking distance from everything. Penny was super helpful & hospital in the office. Only complaint was the TV was awful.. other than that the rooms were clean. My significant other said the bed was a little uncomfortable.
Great spot! Front desk lady is really nice to talk to and good at her job. Very clean rooms, nice location. They could probably double their prices but don't tell them that!
This is a FANTASTIC place. I felt welcomed as soon as I stepped in the office. The staff was so friendly. The room were so clean and smelled nice. The beds were firm and comfortable. The hot tub was nice and hot. The pool was great. I would definitely recommend this to tourists and local people.
This place is beyond amazing! Definitely exceeded my expectations. From the staff, to the rooms, to the pool/amenities...it was well above perfect. You can tell they absolutely take really good care of this place. The rooms were extremely clean and smelled fantastic. Their rooms are updated with the latest furniture styles and the beds are very comfortable. The pool was clean and the hot tub was extremely hot! It felt amazing to just relax and enjoy yourself. Even their laundry room was spotless. I fell in love with the fact that instead of a regular key card to enter your room (which could easily be lost), the way you enter your room is with a waterproof rubber (smart) bracelet! This hotel is definitely a hidden gem! I will 100% be returning here!! The beach is maybe a 5 minute walk, there are plenty of bars and restaurants within short walking distances all around the hotel. This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or just somewhere fun to stay with the family. (Ive already began to recommend this place to everyone i know). I give it a 10/10.
We love Matanzas Inn! It's our go to place to stay on the island. Clean, warm pool and hot hot tub. Clean rooms, comfy beds, and friendly staff. Be back soon!!
